COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

No injuries were reported Monday in a Boone County house fire in the 2400 block of East Alan Circle.

Boone County fire was dispatched at 7:26 p.m. for a fire on the outside of the house, according to Boone County Fire Protections District Assistant Chief Gale Blomenkamp.

Blomenkamp said some siding was burned up but the house is still livable. The cause of the fire is under investigation, but the cause does not appear to be suspicious, Blomenkamp said.
