A grill on a front porch caused a house fire in central Fulton on Monday afternoon, neighbors who witnessed the scene said.

No one was injured in the fire that broke out around 4:30 p.m. on Grand Avenue near Eighth Street, a Fulton Fire Department officer said. The cause was still under investigation. Grand Avenue was closed while crews responded and reopened at 6:41 p.m.

Neighbors told ABC 17 News that they saw the fire start with a grill on the front porch and the flames spread to the front of the house.

The extent of damage wasn't initially clear. Photos from the scene showed bright flames shooting from the front of a home.
