Two dogs die in Columbia house fire

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

No people were hurt in a house fire Friday night in the 2200 block of Bluff Pointe Drive, but two dogs were killed, according to Columbia Fire Department officials.

The cause of the fire has not been determined. A Columbia fire official said the fire is under control, but the department is still looking for hotspots in the building.

A cat was also found and survived.
