Jefferson City Fire Department report reveals new details on Tuesday morning house fire

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

New details to share with you about a Tuesday morning Jefferson City house fire.

According to the report from the Jefferson City Fire Department, two people that firefighters spoke with were not familiar with the other people in the home or the homeowners.

Officials say that at least five people made it out of the home safely.

Officials report the first floor of the building collapsed into the basement.

It's not clear what caused the house fire.
