Firefighters work to put out a fire called out in Camdenton at midnight on Tuesday.

CAMDENTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mid-County Fire Protection District said a fire early Tuesday morning destroyed two storage buildings and damaged two other businesses.

A Facebook post at 2:07 p.m. said firefighters were called to the 700 block of Business Highway 5 for a structure fire called out at midnight.

Crews say two businesses had smoke damage from the fire. According to the Facebook post, two other units are complete losses.

No injuries were reported in the fire.

Firefighters said a portion of the road was blocked off while crews battled the flames.

The post said firefighters brought the fire under control around 3 a.m. Crews were at the scene until 4:37 a.m.

The fire protection district said the state fire marshal was called to investigate.

Osage Beach Fire Protection District, Sunrise Beach Fire Protection District, Lake Ozark Fire Protection District, as well as Lebanon Fire Protection District were called to help. Area ambulances responded to the scene along with Camdenton police officers.
