A judge ruled Friday that cameras will not be allowed in pretrial hearings in the murder case against Joseph Elledge.

Elledge is accused of killing his wife Mengqi Ji in October 2019.

His defense argued images from the hearings could prejudice potential jurors. The investigation and subsequent murder case have already drawn intense coverage from Mid-Missouri media.
