Investigation underway after MU student dies at apartment Thursday morning
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The University of Missouri Police Department is investigating the death of a nursing student.
MU spokesman Christian Basi told ABC 17 News that MUPD responded to a call Thursday morning for an unresponsive person at The Rise on 9th apartment complex at 915 Locust Street, which is leased by MU Residential Life.
Kennedy G. Carter was declared dead at the scene. She was 19.
Basi said Carter was visiting friends at the apartment complex.
