Curators committee hears update on MU Health executive hiring
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
MU Health Care is moving closer to filling out positions on its executive team, according to a presentation given to a University of Missouri Board of Curators committee.
The board's Health Affairs Committee met Thursday at the NexGen Precision Health building and heard updates including the status of hiring new executives. MU Health Care this month hired Dustin Thomas as chief financial officer. Matt Frederiksen-England was named chief compliance officer on Wednesday.
The organization hopes to have a new chief marketing and communications officer by Oct. 30 and a new chief quality officer by Nov. 15, according to the presentation.
MU Health Care is also looking for a new CEO after Jonathan Curtright left July 15 for a job at the University of Oklahoma.
The committee also heard an update on MU Health Care clinic expansion in Mexico and Boonville -- towns where hospitals have recently shut their doors. MU Health opened a clinic in Mexico this month and plans to open a new Boonville clinic next year.
