Family settles with three involved in fraternity hazing case at MU

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The family of a teen hospitalized after a night of drinking at an MU fraternity settled with three people who were involved.

Adult chapter advisors Jeff Wagoner and Chris Palmero along with fraternity secretary Collin Clark settled with the family of 18-year-old Danny Santulli.

Santulli left the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity house last year unconscious with a blood alcohol content six times the legal limit for adults.

His attorney claims members forced him to drink an entire bottle of vodka to join the fraternity.

He remains in a Colorado hospital, where his attorney says he'll have a long road to recovery.

The national organization pulled its Fiji chapter from Mizzou shortly after this happened.

Details of the three settlements aren't available.

Santulli's attorney says more settlements are in the works.

The fraternity has filed a motion to dismiss the case against it.

A Boone County judge will hear that on May 10.
