Beaulieu named interim principal at Lewis & Clark Middle School

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Jefferson City School District announced in a Thursday press release that Todd Beaulieu will be the interim principal of Lewis & Clark Middle School this upcoming school year.

Beaulieu was the assistant principal at Capital City High School and was named the JC Schools 2022 teacher of the year. Beaulieu will succeed Justin Browning.

Beaulieu’s career includes 21 years of classroom experience including teaching fourth, fifth and sixth grades and high school English, according to the release.

He has also coached several levels of boys and girls basketball. He taught in the St. Joseph School District and in the North Kansas City School District prior to joining the Jefferson City School District in 2018.

Beaulieu graduated from Missouri Western State University with a bachelor of science in elementary education, according to the release. He earned his master of science and specialist degree in educational leadership from Arkansas State University.
