COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The head of Columbia Public Schools will provide the school board its first coronavirus update since in-person classes for all grades started this year.

The Columbia Board of Education will meet at 6:30 p.m. Among the agenda items is a coronavirus update from Superintendent Peter Stiepleman.

The district welcome all students back to classrooms last month after middle school and high school students had been learning online-only since last spring. Elementary students had been in and out of classrooms until that point.
