COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia College announced in a Thursday press release that it was given a 10-year reaccreditation by the Higher Learning Commission.

The report from the HLC found the school met criteria for accreditation, reaffirming its accredited status until the 2032-2033 school year.

A team of HLC peer reviewers visited the college in the spring for a comprehensive evaluation.

“The high marks given to Columbia College by our accrediting agency serve to affirm the quality of our academic programs and the excellent support services we provide to our students,” Columbia College President David Russell said.

Lincoln University in Jefferson City on Wednesday also announced it was reaccredited.
