Columbia police arrest man wanted for child sex crimes

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police arrested a Columbia man on several child sex charges.

Frank Washburn, 69, was taken into custody Wednesday.

Washburn is charged with enticement of a child, statutory sodomy and first-degree child molestation.

In May 2016, Washburn allegedly said he would pay the 13-year-old victim $200 to lick her. Washburn also allegedly sexually assaulted the victim when she 10 or 11.

Washburn is being held without bond at the Boone County Jail.

Washburn will be arraigned on Modnay.
