Man charged after allegedly burglarizing Midway Antique Mall

On Sunday at 9:11 a.m., a Boone County Sheriff's deputy arrested a suspect that allegedly burglarized the Midway Antique Mall Sunday morning.
A Boone County prosecutor has charged Thomas Kazimir with second-degree burglary, unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance.
The Boone County Sheriff's Department responded to a break-in at the antique mall at 9:13 p.m. Deputies learned the suspect entered the business at 4:50 a.m. and the suspect could be seen on videotape damaging property and stealing items from inside the store.
A Boone County Sheriff's sergeant responded to the area and located Kazimir leaving the Midway Little General on Highway 40 as he matched the suspect's description, wearing some of the same clothing as captured in the surveillance video.
In a release, Cpt. Brian Leer says that Kazimir was also found to have numerous items believed to have been stolen from the Midway Antique Mall, a controlled substance believed to be methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.
