Jefferson City man arrested after alleged Saturday robbery

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Jefferson City man was arrested Saturday after an alleged robbery where he took money and a gun from the victim.

According to court documents, Tez Kaywood drove the victim home from Eldon. The victim attempted to pay Kaywood but Kaywood pulled out a gun and robbed the victim of his money and a gun.

Cole County Sheriff's deputies found Kaywood at another residence and talked with him about the robbery.

Kaywood told deputies that he saw the money, gun and marijuana earlier in the night and then robbed the victim at the end of the night.

Kaywood is charged with robbery - 1st degree, armed criminal action, possession of a defaced firearm and possession of marijuana.
