COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Boone County prosecutors charged a Columbia man with robbery linked to an incident off of Stadium Boulevard in October.

Kailen Delaney, 17, faces a count each of first-degree robbery and armed criminal action.

Delaney's probable cause statement said he and another man cornered a person leaving the Ash Street Place Apartments on Oct. 15.

The victim told police Delaney ordered the man to hand over his wallet and cell phone.

The victim said in the statement "what if I scream?" Police allege Delaney pulled out a kitchen knife and the other man said he had a gun.

Police say no one was injured in the robbery.

It's unclear if any others have been charged in connection with the incident.

Online court records say Delaney's bond was set at $100,000. Boone County Jail records said he was in jail custody as of Thursday.
