MOBERLY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Moberly Police Department is searching for a man accused of selling methamphetamine.

According to the police department, officers learned late on Friday night that Michael Terrell was at a home in the 700 block of Promenade Street. Police said officers learned Terrell had meth, drug paraphernalia and a gun. There were also children reportedly in the home.

Police said the homeowner told officers Terrell had a bedroom in the home. According to the police department, officers were unable to find Terrell after searching the home.

Police said officers found meth and drug paraphernalia in Terrell's bedroom but didn't find a gun.

An arrest warrant was issued for Terrell on Saturday for possible charges of delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Terrell is a convicted felon which makes it illegal for him to have guns. Police said Terrell is considered to still have a gun.

A judge set Terrell's bond at $20,000 cash or surety.

Anyone with information about Terrell is asked to call the Moberly Police Department or the police department's TIPS line at 660-269-8477.
