Jefferson City man charged with drug trafficking after search warrant served involving SWAT

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Cole County prosecutor has charged a Jefferson City man after a drug search warrant was served on Oct. 29 that required the Jefferson City SWAT team and the MUSTANG Drug Task Force.

Eric Kidd is charged with second-degree drug trafficking, delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Several agencies executed a search warrant on the 500 block of Shawn Drive and found crack cocaine, heroin, MDA, marijuana and a gun at the residence.

Kidd is currently in the Cole County Jail, being held without bond. A bond review hearing is scheduled for Friday.
