Multiple drugs seized during Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force drug investigation

PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Moniteau County Sheriff's deputy and his K-9 helped with a Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force drug investigation in Pettis County.

The Task Force requested assistance from the Moniteau County Sheriff’s Office for a stopped vehicle in Pettis County for a drug investigation.

Once on scene, K-9 “Apollo” and conducted an exterior vehicle sniff and gave a positive alert on the vehicle which was then searched by officers.

During a search of the vehicle, law enforcement found cocaine, heroin, prescription pills, scales, U.S. currency and a substance believed to be Fentanyl.

The subjects were taken into custody by Task Force Agents.
