Deputies: Climax Springs man arrested with nearly 500 marijuana plants
CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)
Camden County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Climax Springs man on Tuesday on suspicion of growing marijuana.
A release from the sheriff's office said deputies served a search warrant at a residence near Bollinger Creek Road.
Deputies say 57-year-old James Garr had about 495 marijuana plants. Processed marijuana and methamphetamine were found also at the residence, the release said.
The sheriff's office said Garr was the only person taken into custody during the search.
Online court records say Garr faces a count each of manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
The court documents included his bond was set at $100,000.
