Kentucky woman arrested after traffic stop leads to marijuana seizure

COOPER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A traffic stop in Cooper County leads to a seizure of 152 pounds of marijuana.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver was pulled over for a lane violation.

After a consent to search was denied, a K-9 was brought in and the K-9 had a positive alert according to officials.

According to information released by highway patrol, the vehicle was searched and they found 152 pounds of marijuana.

The driver is charged with trafficking drugs-2nd degree, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

The driver has a bond set at $20,000 and a 24-hour hold according to Cooper County Sheriff's Department.
