Wrongful death lawsuit filed after two-vehicle crash in Cole County

MGN

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The widow of a man has filed a wrongful death lawsuit after a two-vehicle crash in October 2020 in Cole County.

Lee Anderson is suing FedEx Ground Packaging System Inc. and the driver Ridha Saeid Eisay Zikri.

Troopers said Zikri failed to yield as Anderson was trying to turn left on Lookout Trail on his motorcycle.

Anderson was not wearing a helmet and was treated for serious injuries.

Anderson suffered severe and debilitating injuries, including
but not limited to paralysis, as a result of the crash according to the lawsuit.

Anderson's lawyers allege Zikri was driving over 20 miles per hour over the speed limit and that he was not properly trained to drive the FedEx vehicle.
