A man who allegedly operated an unlicensed daycare is charged with abusing children and has been denied bond.

Leland Bryan appeared for his arraignment Tuesday where the court denied any changes to his bond status.

Bryan is accused of sexually abusing some of the children he cared for at his home in Gravois Mills, along with other abuse felonies.

He is charged with statutory sodomy, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.

Court documents allege Bryan sexually abused two children he cared for at his home on 9300 block of Mill Creek Road.

In the documents, it says that one of victims told investigators that Bryan told her if she told anyone about the incidents he would kill her and her entire family.

He has another hearing scheduled next Wednesday morning.
