Planned Parenthood of St. Louis region files lawsuit against Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Reproductive Health Services of Planned Parenthood of St. Louis Region is suing the state of Missouri to get court expenses covered from a 2019 hearing over its license to perform abortions.

Planned Parenthood won that 2019 lawsuit in May 2020.

Planned Parenthood is seeking $88,213.69 in expenses to get the license back. The expenses include attorney's fee and other fees.

The state of Missouri is suing to get the court to reverse the 2020 decision.
