COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Boone County man is accused of fracturing an infant's ribs dozens of times is being held without bond at the Boone County Jail.

A Boone County prosecutor has charged Arhied Braden-Jackson, 24, with three counts of child abuse.

Court documents name him in three separate incidents of the alleged abuse.

The first happened in October of last year when the then-two-month-old baby was taken to a local hospital with 41 rib fractures.

After that, the baby was removed from his custody and placed in foster care but Braden-Jackson was still allowed supervised visits.

The other two incidents reportedly happened this month during those visits.

Documents claim the child got multiple fingerprint bruises from squeezing.

During an interview with deputies on Monday, Braden-Jackson reportedly admitted he was frustrated with the baby for crying and would strongly grab her around her torso.

A docket hearing has been scheduled for Braden-Jackson for next Wednesday and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 5.
