Columbia man charged after June 2021 police chase

CENTRALIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Boone County Sheriff's Office was trying to locate a wanted person in Centralia for previous offenses during the early morning hours of June 2021.

When deputies found Bryan Pepper, they say he drove off before trying to hit three police cars head-on with his own vehicle.

Officials report Pepper was driving in excess of 100 miles per hour during the chase.

He was been charged with felony assault of a special victim and resisting an arrest for a felony.
