Boone County Sheriff's deputies continue to look for a suspect from a Saturday chase.

According to officials, a Boone County deputy attempted to pull over a reported stolen car on Interstate 70 near the Boone/Callaway County line at 9:25 p.m.

The driver failed to yield and drove off on Rangeline Street and eventually made it to Midway from the I-70 where deputies lost him on country roads.

Deputies then found the suspect's vehicle again after 10 p.m. traveling westbound on I-70 again.

The chase ended after the suspect drove into eastbound traffic on I-70. The vehicle was soon observed to cross over into the eastbound lanes and was possibly observed by a CPD unit in the area of Worley and Bernadette.

On Monday morning, a deputy found the abandoned vehicleon the 5100 block of I-70 Drive SW.

The suspect is still at large.
