Multiple Mid-Missouri law enforcement agencies searched for a man Monday night after a chase near the Lake of the Ozarks.

Miller County Sheriff's deputies said 27-year-old Jonathan Adams ran from authorities. One other person was arrested in the chase, deputies said.

A Facebook post on the sheriff's department page said state troopers, Lake Ozark police, Eldon police and Osage Beach police chased Adams Monday.

The post included crews searched an area around the Route D and Wood River Road intersection northeast of Osage Beach but that Adams was not found.

Deputies said Adams has an active warrant for his arrest.

It's unclear what caused Monday night's chase.

Online court records say Adams could face up to eight years in prison if he violated the conditions of his supervised probation. The records said he pleaded guilty to a felony county each of possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest in July stemming from an incident last year.

Anyone with information about the man's whereabouts is asked to call local authorities.
