Boone County chase Tuesday night ends in crash

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri State Highway Patrol says a chase on Hwy 63 ended in a wreck Tuesday night.

Officials say a trooper stopped Stephan Reed on the shoulder of northbound Hwy 63 at Vandiver Dr. Reed then sped off and crashed two minutes later on the off ramp of Hwy 63 to Route B.

Reed was taken to an area hospital due to injuries from the crash.

The driver faces 11 charges.
