The Callaway County Sheriff's Office said two people were arrested with a large quantity of drugs after a chase ended in Fulton on Tuesday.

A release from the sheriff's office shows 29-year-old Sean Kennard and 43-year-old Johnnie Sims were arrested around noon.

Deputies tried to pull over Kennard at the interchange on Interstate 70 and Highway 54 in Kingdom City. According to the release, Kennard exited 54 at the Route H exit and crashed his car.

Kennard and Sims both ran from the vehicle after the crash but were later arrested.

Authorities said a large amount of cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana was found inside the car. Deputies said the amount drugs was estimated to be worth about $10,000.

Online court records show neither man has been charged with a crime.
