Osage County Sheriff’s Department investigating delay into an alleged felony assault at Osage County R-II School District

LINN, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Mid-Missouri school district is under investigation for failing to report an alleged felony assault according to the Osage County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies served the Osage County R-II School District in Linn with search warrants and subpoenas Wednesday for inter-office correspondence and other communications and records regarding the incident.

Deputies say the assault happened on March 2nd with individual students.

The school district says it has a policy in place to report certain crimes but did not comment on this investigation.
