Pettis County court document reveal more information on an Oct. 8 evening stabbing on the 1200 block of S. Limit Ave.

According to a probable cause statement, Sedalia Police responded to a stabbing and found the victim to be suffering from multiple stab wounds and bleeding profusely before being taken to a local hospital.

Five days later after the victim was released from the hospital, the victim told police what the suspect was wearing and that glasses that were given to him as "his belonging" were actually the suspects.

Officials say the victim was stabbed seven times with wounds to his neck, lung, wrist and ribs.

According to court documents, police spoke with Francisco Fernandez on Friday. Fernandez said he admitted to everything but stabbing the victim.

Fernandez is charged with 1st degree assault and armed criminal action.

Fernandez's bond is set at $100,000 cash or surety.

Fernandez's next court date is set for Nov. 3
