Highway Patrol reports officer-involved shooting in Sedalia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Wednesday that it is investigating after a Sedalia police officer shot a suspect.

The patrol posted the information on social media and said the shooting took place near 16th Street and South Garfield Avenue.

ABC 17 News has asked the Sedalia Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol for more information.
