Stover police report armed robbery at gas station

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A police department in Morgan County stated on its social media that an armed robbery occurred Thursday at a gas station in Stover.

The Stover Police Department wrote that two people robbed the cashier of a Phillips 66 at gunpoint and ran away. No injuries were reported.

“Law enforcement is actively investigating and following multiple leads. At this time, there is no indication that the general public is in danger. However, we encourage everyone to remain vigilant and aware of their surroundings,” the post says.
