Charges have been updated for a man accused of several child sex crimes in Callaway County following a grand jury indictment that was filed on Tuesday.

Memphis Raines Dils, 23, of Holts Summit, was charged with three counts of second-degree statutory sodomy, one count of first-degree statutory sodomy, tampering with a witness, child porn possession and sexually exploiting a minor. He was previously charged with five counts of second-degree statutory sodomy, one count of first-degree sodomy and tampering with a witness.

An arraignment for the new set of charges is set for 9 a.m. Tuesday. He’s being held without bond at the Callaway County Jail.

Court documents in previous reporting state a witness in October reported that Dils sexually assaulted a youth.

The witness allegedly saw messages from Dils on the victim’s Instagram account that requested to exchange sexual acts for food, nicotine and money, the probable cause statement says. The victim told the witness that Dils raped and sodomized them multiple times since 2022, the statement says.

The witness confronted Dils over Facebook messenger and he allegedly “admitted to everything,” court documents say. Law enforcement viewed the conversation and saw Dils admitted to the assaults, court documents say.
