COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A woman was charged in Monroe County on Thursday after she allegedly stole more than $23,000 from the Paris Athletic Booster Club.

Jessica Howard, 43, of Paris, Missouri, was charged with three counts of stealing more than $750, one count of forgery and two counts of fraudulently using a debit card. She is being held at the Monroe County Jail on a $100,000 bond. An arraignment was held on Friday morning.

Howard is a former officer of the Paris Athletic Booster Club, according to a press release from Monroe County Prosecuting Attorney Nicole Volkert. She is accused of taking more than $23,000 from August 2023-September 2024.

Court documents claim she used the athletic club’s debit card to withdraw money from the account.
