Odessa man pleads guilty to 5 felonies in crash that knocked out power in Maries County

An Odessa man pleaded guilty to five felonies in a December 2023 crash that knocked out power for hundreds of people in Maries County.

Jeramy Sisk pleaded guilty to resisting arrest, three counts of first-degree property damage and one count of stealing a car. He was sentenced to five years in prison.

Previous reporting indicates that Sisk was on the run from law enforcement over multiple counties and crashed into a pole in Maries County. He was eventually arrested near a Dollar General in Vienna.

He also pleaded guilty in September in Phelps County to resisting arrest and receiving stolen property. He was sentenced to four years for those charges. He pleaded guilty in August to stealing a car and stealing more than $750 in Lafayette County and was sentenced to seven years in prison.
