Man faces several child porn charges in Callaway County
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A man has been charged in Callaway County with several child pornography charges.
Joshua Jungermann, 38, was charged with sexual exploitation of a minor child, first-degree promoting child pornography, child porn possession and five counts of first-degree promoting obscenity. An address was not listed in court records. He is being held at the Callaway County Jail without bond. A hearing was scheduled for Friday morning.
The probable cause statement says that the Boone County Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crimes Task Force received a tip on Sept. 30 about child pornography being uploaded to an online platform. Images and videos were reported on Nov. 19 and Dec. 27, the statement says, from data received from an IP address using Co-Mo Connect’s internet service.
A search warrant was executed at Jungermann’s residence on Jan. 9 and he allegedly admitted to having sole ownership of the online account that uploaded the images and videos and admitted to sending multiple files, the statement says.
