Two men charged in Jefferson City armed robbery
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Two Columbia men were accused in an armed robbery that occurred Saturday in a Jefferson City parking lot, court documents say.
Joe Kisabo, 21, was charged with first-degree robbery and tampering with evidence. Stefan Williams, 18, was charged with first-degree robbery and accessory to tampering with evidence. Both men are being held at the Cole County Jail without bond. An arraignment is set for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Cole County Circuit Court.
The victim allegedly told police that he met with the men at a Sam’s Club parking lot to buy weed from them, the statement says. One of the men allegedly pulled out a gun and took $30 from the victim, the statement says. The probable cause statement does not say which man had the gun.
The men drove away in a vehicle and the victim followed them, the statement says. One of them men allegedly threw the gun out of the vehicle. Police found the gun on Missouri Boulevard near Freddy’s Frozen Custard, court documents say.
The probable cause statement says Williams handed Kisabo the gun and allegedly told him when to throw it out of the vehicle.
