COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Jefferson City man was charged with multiple felonies on Monday after he allegedly held a woman against her will on Sunday.
Trevor Hayden-Nigel Foley, 18, was charged with second-degree kidnapping, unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action and two misdemeanors: Fourth-degree domestic assault and resisting arrest. He was not listed on the Cole County Jail roster on Monday afternoon. A court date has not been set.
According to the probable cause statement, the victim allegedly told police that Foley confronted the victim about her alleged infidelity and he pulled out a gun at his apartment and began yelling at the woman.
Foley allegedly took the victim back to a residence in Callaway County and attempted to run over one of her friends, the statement says.
Foley allegedly sent messages to the victim through text message and SnapChat, claiming police were at his home and that he was going to run away, the statement says.
He allegedly claimed he would destroy the gun and sent pictures of himself running on the roofs of buildings in the area, court documents claim. Police searched the area, but were unable to find him, the statement says.
