Man charged with domestic assault, other felonies in Boone County following attack
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A man was charged with four felonies on Wednesday following a Nov. 16 attack, court documents say.
Nelson Dee-Leon Victoria was charged in Boone County with first-degree domestic assault, first-degree kidnapping and two counts of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
He was not listed on the Boone County Jail on Wednesday afternoon. A warrant was ordered and no bond was set. The probable cause statement claims that Victoria is an undocumented immigrant.
According to the probable cause statement, Victoria accused the victim of infidelity before dragging them to the ground and attacking them. Victoria repeatedly punched and kicked the victim in the head, the statement says.
The victim tried to get up, but Victoria allegedly pulled them back down every time they tried to get away, and continued the assault, the statement says. The victim then began yelling for help and Victoria ran away with the victim’s cellphone, the statement says.
Police officers observed injuries to the victim’s head, neck, arms and legs and the victim had issues moving one of their arms, the statement says.
