Belle man charged with child molestation in Osage County
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Belle man was charged with fourth-degree child molestation on Wednesday.
Joshua Gray was arrested during a traffic stop on Tuesday in Cole County, court documents say. A mugshot was not immediately available. A court date has not been scheduled. A $25,000 bond was set.
The probable cause statement says that the minor victim informed law enforcement about the assaults on Monday and claimed they occurred over a span of several years and that an assault occurred recently.
When confronted by law enforcement, Gray apparently blamed the child victim in the case, court documents say. He alleged that the youth placed his hands in areas and blamed the child for “wearing provocative clothing,” court documents say.
