Centralia man faces child porn charges in Randolph County
MOBERLY, Mo. (KMIZ)
A man has been accused of uploading child pornography to the internet in Moberly.
Tyler Marsh, 23, of Centralia, was charged with possessing child pornography and first-degree promoting child porn. He is being held at the Randolph County Jail on a $50,000 bond. A court date has not been set.
According to the probable cause statement, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crimes Task Force received tips about child porn being uploaded from an IP address in Moberly. Law enforcement received data in the fall indicating child porn files were uploaded to the internet, the statement says.
Police and deputies served a search warrant at Marsh’s new residence on Thursday, and Marsh allegedly admitted to sending and downloading child porn, the statement says.
