Fulton shooting victim dies, police are searching for suspects

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man who was found with injuries after a Friday shooting in Fulton has died, according to the Fulton Police Department.

The Fulton Police Department said earlier on Friday that officers were called to the 1400 block of Route C (Mokane Road) and found a man inside a home with life-threatening injuries from the shooting. He was rushed to a hospital in an ambulance.

Police wrote on its social media page on Friday afternoon that Dominique Ford is the victim in the shooting. He was 27. Police are searching for suspects.

"The victim from the incident earlier in the 1400 block of State Rt. C has been identified as Dominique Ford, 27, of Fulton.  Mr. Ford succumbed to his injuries and our investigation continues.  We are actively searching for suspects from leads generated throughout the day.  If you have any information concerning this incident please contact the Fulton Police Department 573-592-3100.    No further information will be released at this time," the post says.

Police did not release any information about a suspect.
