VERSAILLES, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Versailles man was charged with multiple sex crimes in two cases on Friday.

Tristian Dale Washia-Mayhew, 22, was charged in one case with first-degree rape. In his second case, he was charged with second-degree statutory rape and fourth-degree child molestation. He is being held at the Morgan County Jail. No bond was set in the child sex crime case, while a $250,000 bond was set in the other rape case.

It is not immediately clear in court documents if the victim in both cases is the same person.

One of the court documents say that the victim was brought over by a friend who left them at Washia-Mayhew’s residence. The victim was allegedly given alcohol and they passed out, the statement says. They awoke to Washia-Mayhew raping them, court documents say.

Washia-Mayhew allegedly denied knowing the victim before saying he did know them, the statement sasy. The victim allegedly told law enforcement that they also sent Washia-Mayhew nude photos after he wouldn’t stop asking, while Washia-Mayhew claimed that they were unsolicited, the statement says.

In a second probable cause statement, the victim claimed there was a camera in the room where the assault occurred, but Washia-Mayhew alleged the camera wasn’t “hooked up.” He also claimed that he would be leaving on Oct. 30 to go to the U.S. Virgin Islands, the statement says.
