A Holts Summit man has been charged with several child sex crimes.

Memphis Raines Dils was charged with five counts of second-degree statutory sodomy, one count of first-degree sodomy and tampering with a witness. A warrant was issued for his arrest on Wednesday and he is not listed on the Callaway County Jail roster. A court date has not been set.

The probable cause statement says that Dils is older than 21 years old and the victim was younger than 16 years old when the assaults started. The statement says that a witness called Callaway County Joint Communications on Tuesday to say Dils sexually assaulted a youth.

The witness allegedly saw messages from Dils on the victim’s Instagram account that requested to exchange sexual acts for food, nicotine and money, the statement says. The victim told the witness that Dils raped and sodomized them multiple times since 2022, the statement says.

The victim allegedly told deputies that when they would threaten to tell the witness about the assaults, Dils threatened to get the underage victim in trouble for possessing nicotine, the statement says.

The witness confronted Dils over Facebook messenger and he allegedly “admitted to everything,” court documents say. Law enforcement viewed the conversation and saw Dils admitted to the assaults, court documents say.
