Stover man charged with statutory rape, sodomy

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Stover man was charged with several child sex crimes on Tuesday.

Colby Hader, 26, was charged with two counts of second-degree statutory rape and two counts of second-degree statutory sodomy. He is being held at the Morgan County Jail on a $250,000 bond.

Hader pleaded not guilty during a hearing on Wednesday. A bond appearance hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20.

According to the probable cause statement, the victim allegedly told Boonville police on April 18 that they were sexually assaulted by Hader for multiple years, beginning in April 2018. Hader allegedly admitted to law enforcement in July to having sexual encounters with the victim, the statement says.

Hader was also charged in Morgan County in June with third-degree assault. A hearing in that case is scheduled for 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17
