A Forth Smith, Arkansas, man was charged with promoting prostitution after he was accused of running prostitution services out of the Osage Village Inn.

Johnny Jackson, 43, was charged with third-degree promoting prostitution. He is being held at the Camden County Jail on a $150,000 bond. A court date has not been set.

According to the probable cause statement, Osage Beach police began an investigation involving prostitution on Tuesday and identified an orange 2011 Chevrolet Camaro that was parked at the Osage Village Inn. The car was registered to Jackson, the statement says. A clerk at the front desk of the hotel was able to tell police that Jackson had a room there and that two people were constantly going in and out of the room, the statement says.

Police found an advertisement on a “common prostitution website” that was offering sexual services in the Osage Beach area, the statement says. The phone number on the ad had a Fort Smith, Arkansas, number, according to the statement.

On Wednesday, police arranged a “date” by texting the number and agreed to meet at the Inn at Grand Glaize on Osage Beach Parkway for $150, court documents claim. The Camaro was at the location and Jackson was eventually arrested, the statement says.

Jackson was found with CashApp cards, cash and other items and allegedly admitted to law enforcement that he ran the operation out of various hotels, the statement says. One of the other people previously described in the statement claimed Osage Beach was a “lucrative place to perform a prostitution service,” according to court documents.
