Police respond to Clark Lane mobile home park after shots were fired

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Columbia police responded on Wednesday at a mobile home park in the 3900 block of Clark Lane after shots were fired.
The Columbia Police Department wrote on its social media that "At approximately 3:05 p.m., officers responded to the 3900 block of Clark Lane for reports of shots fired. Officers discovered one juvenile male had already left with a non-life-threatening injury."
CPD spokeswoman Jenny Hopper told ABC 17 News at the scene that the victim is at an area hospital and that the other person involved is a female juvenile. Police said one of the youth had a gunshot wound. No evidence markers were visible to reporters at the scene.
CPD wrote in a Thursday press release that a boy and and girl had minor injuries from a fight where one gunshot was fired. One of the youths was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree assault.
Police stated there's no active threat to the community and that the investigation was ongoing.
At least three Columbia Police Department patrol vehicles, a Boone County Sheriff’s deputy patrol vehicle and an ambulance were at the mobile home park.
A crime scene investigation van arrived at 3:34 p.m.
