MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The death of a Hallsville man whose body was found over the weekend in Morgan County was ruled an “intentional homicide,” according to a social media post from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.

Beauford Wilson, 71, was found dead Sunday against a tree near Beechnut Road, south of Stover, the post states.

The post says an autopsy was conducted Tuesday by the Greene County Medical Examiner in Springfield, Missouri. The autopsy apparently showed he had multiple gunshot wounds.

Possible suspect information was not provided.
